FLOOR and more

General Description
|
Frequently, floors are overlooked in conventional buildings. The floor has, to a large extent, no function besides accommodating aesthetic floor coverings. In office and administration buildings, this attitude has now changed. With the use of raised floor and access floor systems, walk-able space is created that can be used to install a great number of supply and disposal lines. The floor takes on a function that provides the building with better and improved features. The flexibility thus obtained, ensures the future of the investment. However, there are also disadvantages to using these functional floors, and compromises become necessary. Raised floors only provide limited space for installations and are not very flexible. Any subsequent retrofitting will make work in the floor necessary. Disassembly is difficult, and continuous joints interfere. More flexibility is obtained with an access floor, although such a high degree of flexibility is not needed everywhere. This is why the new generation of flooring was developed, which uses the advantages of established installations flooring while avoiding the well-known disadvantages |
The FLOOR and more dry flooring system
High-strength mineral flooring panels mesh with one another through special profiled edges, thus forming a surface that appears to be jointless. To compensate structural tolerances, the system rests on steel pedestals.
Due to the innovative geometry of the edges, a combination of closed and removable flooring areas is created that is tailored to individual use. The meshing of the panels produces a structure whose stability is maintained even during access.
The FLOOR and more flooring system consists of calcium sulphate panels with a thickness of 24 to 40 mm (0.9 to 1.6). A suitable panel is available to meet any requirements (such as loading or construction height). The specially shaped panel edges enable installation with a closed, homogeneous surface.
This interlocking meshwork is glued exactly to size using a special adhesive. The panel dimensions are 600 x 600 mm (23.6x23.6). To obtain the best possible footfall sound insulation, the galvanized cavity-type floor pedestals are glued both to the floor panels and to the structural floor. The floor can be fully installed in just a few hours. A self-adhesive edge-insulating strip prevents direct transmission of structure-borne sound to adjacent components. For air-conducting installations flooring, we recommend coating the structural floor with a two-component sealant.
