STONEline – Stone coverings

Description
Stone coverings are often used in reception areas, elevator lobbies and on executive floors, as they offer high durability and timeless beauty. We have developed our STONEline system so that various types of natural and artificial stone and ceramic tiles can be factory bonded to each panel.
These can be manufactured using countless types of stone from a wide range of countries in a large variety of colors. New manufacturing techniques make it possible for the sandwiched elements of the stone and calcium sulphate panels to be processed together. This innovative production technology allows us to provide you with all-in-one solutions.

STONEline Access Flooring
Using our NORTEC panels with stone produces floor surfaces where the joints fit together with 100% accuracy. A color-coordinated edge band is run up to the top side of the panel. This prevents the edges of the stone from chipping off when the access floor is opened and closed.

Construction
Surface
High-quality layer of stone of a wide variety of types

Supporting layer
Raised floor panels made of calcium sulphate with various material thicknesses

Edge trim
Color-matched to the type of stone
To protect the edges of the stone, the edge trim is run and set up to the top side of the panel.

Barrier layer
Counter surfacing made of steel sheet to increase loading

FLOOR and more STONEline
New production methods make it possible to position and bond stone tiles to the Floor and more system panels, with millimeter precision. This flooring system, with factory-applied stone, provides both short construction times and high-standards of quality. Truly aligned joints and even surfaces are aesthetically pleasing. Complicated installations with thick mortar-bed techniques are no longer required. After the installed “Floor and More” system has been allowed to dry for approximately 48 hours, the stone joints are sealed with commercially available joint sealers. This is an advantage as the functionality and visually appealing effect of the floor is achieved in a very short construction time.

Joint
This factory application on FLOOR and more panels enables true-to-fit alignment, which, after drying, is sealed with a joint sealer

Supporting layer
Calcium sulphate panel with profiled edges
